<--The monastery.
Tuesday Alexandria and I went to an ancient monk monastery at the Desierto De Los Leones. It was located 500m over Cuajimalpa and was surrounded by a beautiful national park. After touring the monastery, we had supper at a wondeful restaurant overlooking the forest. The menu was extensive, it included deer, rabbit, austriche, snails, grasshoppers and even larvae. Even tho I usually am one to try new things, I was a little reluctant to try the insects. I had the arracherra which is a thin well spiced steak and Alexandria had a plate of chicken wrapped ham with a monchego cheese center. Service was excellent and the price was very reasonable, we had a little language misunderstanding with our waiter as he didn't want to accept our tip. I got the chance to call PGP AdventurePark and they told me Friday or Saturday morning is the best time to practice against Mexico's finest. here's the pics from the monastery
