NRG refereed the final event of the RBL. The last event was held at Tactique Paintball in St-René de Beauce. Check out their website tactiquepaintball ! What is nice about the RBL Series is that it is also a fundraiser. Even, the son of Karl the Tactique Paintball owner, suffers from Muscular Dystonia. This disease caused damaged to his nerves as well as his motor skills. PBL Action Sports came down to support the cause and even submitted a team in the novice division. The prizes were given away at a Spaghetti Supper in Even's honour. The turnout was huge! It seemed the entire village had come to support the cause! The money raised will help Even get the expensive Hyperbare treatments he needs to recover. My sincere best wishes to Karl's family as I can't possibly even start to imagine what you must be living through to nurse your son back to health! In addition, NRG also received a trophy thanking us for our dedication to refereeing and supporting the RBL. Thank your Karl as well as all the organizers of the RBL it was the least we could do!
