<--CXBL EVENT 3 On Sunday, July 9th Mont-Royal NRG's CXBL team got defeated by the Laval Skorpions at the Mirabel Paintball Park. The final score was 10-7. It seems like we're still having trouble bonding as a team, I believe we are being weakened by our lack of trust in each other. The pit is a prime example as I see it as being more chaotic than ever. You would think we would of learned from our two previous matches. After the match, the NRG forum lit up with discussions as to what could be fixed. P-Y led the discussion with his various hockey and coaching analogies. Julien followed stating that even the NY Rangers with their stacked roster have been unsuccessful do to their lack of teamwork. I think Mazi's statement really opened my eyes "as it is right now you guys are in no way going to make the finals, i suggest you use whats left of the season to fix all the kinks. If you guys come togheter right now, and WORK as a UNIT you will be unstoppable next season". I just hope that the proverb "when one door closes another opens" holds true as our failure in CXBL makes me want to conquer PSP even more.

In a brighter note, NRG recruited 5 new CXBL athlethes. Chris Clements, David Kaminsky, David Veldof, Sean Makofski and Mike Papa. They are a great bunch of guys from New Jersey and they can definetly play some great ball. Check out their site www.Dallasdrive.tv for their new private label Ion.
