**Update** The Mid Atlantic Open trip has been canceled due to lack of participation and difficulties in organization. Some of our players were unable to attend due to school and lack of finances. I'm really disappointed that we were unable to get concensus on the trip as I feel skipping an event which is scheduled at the beginning of the year is counter productive to the athletes that have been training all year long. World Cup is around the corner and not being able to attend the MAO will definetly reduce our team's potential for success as the MAO would have been a first PSP event for many on NRG. In any case, I will be taking my anger out on the asphalt tomorrow as I start my extensive workout regiment. Scheduled are some early morning sprints up and down the mountain.
<--Bad week.
Last weekend we scrimmaged against the Cyclones. Unfortunetly we didn't come prepared and such, we got a well deserved beat down. Colin made the remark that we should never scrimmage if we don't have a plan, a pit and a full and ready roster. In the future, I will be taking this advice as a criteria for calling a practice as I feel the last practice was a waster of time, talent and money. The Mid Atlantic Open is less than 2 weeks away and we are having trouble getting organized. After an in depth talk with Will, I have been given the liberty to continue pushing the idea of having an Nrg or Vma team in North Carolina.
